What if you could rehearse an entire boiler erection before a single component reaches the site?
For a D-type superheated steam boiler that Termotecnica Industriale is currently supplying for a project in the Middle East, we built a detailed 3D erection sequence animation to visualize, step by step, how the unit will take shape on site.
The animation follows the main boiler components as they are progressively lifted, positioned, aligned and integrated, from the first structural steel to the completed unit.
But the real value goes beyond visualization.
This approach lets our customers bring construction methodology into the engineering phase, building a shared visual reference before erection activities even begin.
→ During tendering and subcontracting, the model supports a clearer definition of erection sequences, interfaces and responsibilitie, helping the client compare erection proposals on a more consistent technical basis.
→ During site execution, the same model becomes a coordination tool for the teams involved, improving visibility of the planned sequence and keeping engineering, construction management and erection contractors aligned.
The result: greater control over one of the most critical phases of any boiler project – issues identified earlier, interfaces made clearer, fewer surprises on site.
At Termotecnica Industriale, our engineering doesn’t stop at designing and supplying the boiler. We are expanding the way we support our customers, sharing this same digital engineering approach with them to help manage assembly, installation and integration activities on site, including those that remain under the direct responsibility of the customer and its contractors.
Because engineering the equipment is only part of the job.
Engineering its execution is the next step.
